2pac or Biggie?

2pac & Notorious Big!
hmmm i have now presented before ya'll two very influential and respected individuals within Hip-Hop. Both regarded as Hip-Hop greats if not the greatest according to their individual fans. But the question remains. WHOS THE BETTER RAPPER?
There is no disputing the fact that 2pac is more influential in the literal sence but is he more influential than Biggie musically? Truth be told Biggie has influenced alot of peoples rapstyles and tought many how to flow on a beat. (Including Myself).

Well as i cannot speak for all i can atleast speak on my behalf. Personally am more of a 2pac fan as i feel like me and him had a lot more in common than me and Big Papa. 2pac was a inspirational visionary who touched many lives and also altered alot of minds. Because of this he shall remain as one of histories most influential individuals however "THE MAN" will try and surpress that notion.
Nuff respect to Notorious BIG for being such a great musician with mad intelligence and musical knowledge, his work shall remain unforgotten. So theres my view on whos the better artist, whats yours?

  1. Oh ya now u've opened a great subject to discuss about :) a lot of different opinions, but u got 2 great artists here :) I dont wanna take a side or anything, but like u said, it's somethin about 2pac that.. he was much more than just "the thug" that most of the people refer him to. I've read his poetry, and it just confirmd what i've already knew. He was genuine and real, and he put his feelings into his music, and u can feel that by listenin to it. And I think that's what makes it so great. What makes him great. He wasnt there to please people, first of all he was pleasing himself by writing down his feelings, and if that became a hit? hell ya he deserved it :) as for biggie, he was great too, if he wouldnt be, we wouldnt have this discussion in the first place, but different people different opinions. :)
    that's it for me :)

  2. Thanks for your views Suzana and being the first to comment the blog:) I agree with your views on 2 pac. Truth be told, dude was more than a musician. He wa simply astonishing and amazing and ever so inspiring.
